Ford Ranger - WE ARE TOUGH FROM WITHIN

Image
WE ARE TOUGH FROM WITHIN  UP AND OVER There's no challenge we don't tackle head-on. When we see a mountain range we want to go over, not around. This is true of our truck, users, Ford, and partners.  CAN'T HELP BUT HELP We are doers. We pitch in. When people need help or assistance we're always there. On the building site, helping friends or loved ones, or our dealers within their local communities.  CARVE YOUR OWN PATH We are the truck that redefined the category. We don't wait for others to lead. We have a vision and objective and we're fearless in what we need to do to achieve our goals.  BRING OTHERS ALONG It's great to work hard and achieve recognition, but even better to share it with those who mean the most - our family and friends.  WE MAKE OUR OWN FUN There's no such thing as all work and no play. And when it's time to play, we know how to make the most of those opportunities. Our truck is awesome and fun to drive.  www.fordtruckmonth.co.za

A Bakkie inspired by the people  Good day, gentleman. Are you sitting down? If not, at least put your beer down. The reason I ask is that we have finally been listened to (not by the missus) but by our favourite bakkie brand. Ford has interviewed literally thousands of their customers to see how they can improve on their already impressive Ranger range, and boy did they really listen and take every comment to heart.  The next-generation 2023 Ford Ranger Wildtrak is proof of this. Starting with two engine options, both diesel, the 2.0 Bi-turbo TDCi and the 3L V6, both available in 4x2 and 4x4 variants, and a whole host of new amazing features both on the outside and inside. Let's take a look at some of the new features, starting with the outside.   Putting the customer first led to new features and a market-leading engineering and testing programme that made sure every part of the Wildtrak's versatility was built Ford Tough.   Bold Design Captures Raptor Family DNA In Next-Gen Ranger Raptor Take a sneak peek behind the Ford Design curtain and learn, in 90 seconds, what it takes to go from a scribble on a sketch pad to Ford’s most powerful Ranger yet – the next-generation Ranger Raptor. Hundreds of sketches, thousands of kilos of clay, and hundreds of litres of paint. We think of new cars being built by sophisticated machines on massive production lines, but the first step in the process begins with artisans. Like everything, the design of next-gen Ranger Raptor began with a brief. This brief forms the backbone of the design, it confirms the inspiration and must-haves in the design. Once the creative brief is locked, the designers begin sketching and it “always starts with a pencil and paper,” said Dave Dewitt, exterior design manager, Ranger Raptor. Once the sketches are approved, “and there are hundreds of them,” according to Dewitt, the digital design team recreates them virtually as both a master r
